Configure messenger channels, MCP services, environment variables, and other team-wide settings.
Team Settings
Team settings are configured in the editor's Settings panel. These apply to the entire team.
Messenger Channels
Your team can be connected to one or more messenger channels simultaneously. Each channel has its own configuration, access policy, and persona assignment.
| Channel | Guide | Key Settings |
|---|---|---|
| Telegram | Connecting Telegram | Bot token, DM policy, allowlist |
| Discord | Connecting Discord | Bot token, guild ID |
| Slack | Connecting Slack | Bot token, app token |
| Connecting WhatsApp | API token, phone number ID | |
| Web | Connecting Web Channel | API key, allowed origins |
You can connect multiple channels at the same time. For example, run the same team on Telegram and Discord with different personas handling each channel.
MCP Services
MCP (Model Context Protocol) services give your AI team access to external tools and data sources — GitHub, databases, search engines, and more.
Services are configured at the company level and then toggled on or off per team. See MCP Services for the full guide.
Environment Variables
You can pass custom environment variables to your team:
- Open the Settings panel
- Scroll to Environment Variables
- Click Add Variable
- Enter the key and value
- Save
Environment variables are useful for API keys, configuration values, or any secrets your team's tools need.
Environment variables can only be edited while the team is stopped. Stop the team first if you need to change them.
Default Model
Set the AI model used by all personas unless individually overridden. See Choosing AI Models for details.
