Your First AI Team

This guide walks you through creating and deploying your first AI team.

Quick Start

1. Create the Team

  1. Go to your company page
  2. Click New Team
  3. Enter a name and description
  4. You'll land in the Team Editor

2. Add a Persona

  1. Click Add Block > Persona
  2. Search the Skillbase registry for a persona (e.g. "assistant", "analyst")
  3. Select one — it auto-fills with the persona's description and role
  4. Optionally add custom instructions or override the AI model

3. Configure Settings

  1. Open the Settings panel in the editor
  2. Set the Default Model (e.g. google/gemini-2.5-flash-lite)
  3. Optionally connect an integration (e.g. Telegram — see Connecting Telegram)

4. Deploy

  1. Click Save to save your configuration
  2. Go to the team detail page
  3. Click Start
  4. Wait for the status to change from "Creating" to "Running"

5. Use It

Your AI team is live! If you connected Telegram, open your bot and send a message. Otherwise, the team runs autonomously based on its configuration (e.g. heartbeat tasks).

Alternative: Get a Team from the Marketplace

If you don't want to build from scratch:

  1. Browse the marketplace on the homepage
  2. Find a team you like
  3. Click Get for Free (or purchase a paid team)
  4. Import it to your company
  5. Optionally connect Telegram or other integrations
  6. Start the team

This is the fastest way to get running — the team is already configured with personas and instructions.
